A Dominant Start to the Season for USC
The Trojans have been in fine form this season, remaining undefeated in dual meets and making a strong statement against their early opponents. The season began with an impressive showing at the USC Invitational in October, where both the men’s and women’s teams asserted dominance over Hawaii. The Women of Troy swept all four relay events, while the men clinched victories in three out of four. Additionally, USC swimmers claimed the top spot in 12 individual races, underlining their depth and competitive edge.
In November, USC continued to build momentum with a commanding win over former Pac-12 rival Arizona. Among the standout performances was sophomore All-American and Olympian Minna Abraham, who set the nation’s fastest time in the 200-yard freestyle, touching the wall at 1:42.01 to earn an NCAA A-cut.
