For quite some time, fans have been anticipating Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero’s downloadable content (DLC) featuring characters from the Dragon Ball Daima series. While the first DLC pack in the game’s season pass was centered around the 2022 movie Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, the remainder of the season pass is entirely dedicated to Dragon Ball Daima.
With Dragon Ball Daima concluding its run at the end of February 2025, Bandai Namco has finally a teaser without the risk of potential spoilers. The first trailer, albeit short at just 40 seconds, offers a look into the upcoming content.
Previously, we were aware that the DLC pack would feature the debut of Glorio, as well as the Daima version of Vegeta, referred to as Vegeta (Mini). Daima Goku had already been confirmed as a base game character. Now, Bandai Namco has officially announced two more additions: Super Saiyan forms of both Goku (Mini) and Vegeta (Mini), further expanding the roster.

Who is in the Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero Daima DLC?
The Daima DLC is set to be released in two parts, meaning more fighters will be revealed over time. However, the confirmed roster so far includes:
- Goku (Mini) – Super Saiyan
- Vegeta (Mini)
- Vegeta (Mini) – Super Saiyan
- Glorio
Considering that the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero DLC pack introduced 11 new fighters, it is reasonable to expect a similar count for the Daima pack. The Season Pass trailer hints at “20+ new playable characters,” suggesting that if each of the three DLC packs contained 11 fighters, Bandai Namco would likely advertise “30+” instead.
Based on the Dragon Ball Daima series, we can expect other key characters to be included, such as Gomah, Degesu, Piccolo (Mini), and the Super Saiyan 3 versions of both Goku (Mini) and Vegeta (Mini). Furthermore, the biggest surprise from Daima—Super Saiyan 4 Goku in both his Mini and fully-grown forms—may also make an appearance.
When Will the Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero Daima DLC Release?
Bandai Namco has yet to provide an exact release date for the Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero Daima DLC. However, it has been confirmed that the first pack is scheduled to arrive sometime in April 2025. The second installment of the Daima DLC is expected to launch before the end of June 2025.

How Will the Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero Daima DLC Impact Competitive Play?
Currently, the Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero competitive scene is in an interesting phase. The recent Dragon Ball: Sparking! The Zero Dramatic Showdown Finals saw Drastresparking take home the victory, solidifying the evolving meta.
As of now, none of the announced Daima DLC characters appear to be immediate game-changers in the competitive terrain. However, the series’ main antagonist, Gomah, along with a potential Super Saiyan Daima Goku, could significantly influence the game’s meta. If these characters are introduced with powerful abilities, they might shake up competitive play.
With more fighters yet to be revealed, fans can expect further updates from Bandai Namco leading up to the official launch of the DLC. Until then, speculation continues on which characters will complete the Daima DLC roster and how they will impact Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero.
