In the upcoming March 2025 update, Marvel Rivals will introduce significant changes to several fan-favorite heroes, including Iron Man, Cloak & Dagger, and Human Torch. Iron Man Adjustments

Iron Man is one of the most iconic characters in the Marvel Universe and an equally powerful hero in Marvel Rivals. In the upcoming patch, Iron Man will see adjustments to his primary attack mechanics. As many players know, Iron Man has two primary attack options: the Repulsor Blast and Repulsor Blast (Armor Overdrive).

The key change to Iron Man’s primary attack involves a reduction in the damage output of his Repulsor Blast. Specifically, the hit damage in stages 1 and 2 will decrease from 55 to 40 HP. However, the spell field damage will see an increase, rising from 35 to 50 HP. This change ensures that Iron Man’s energy blast will now also affect enemies within the blast radius, making his attacks more versatile and damaging to those in proximity.

Similarly, the direct hit damage in stage 3 will drop from 65 to 50 HP, but the spell field damage will rise from 40 to 60 HP, offering more utility for those enemies caught within the blast radius. Furthermore, Iron Man’s Repulsor Blast (Armor Overdrive) direct hit damage will decrease from 55 to 50 HP, while the spell field damage will increase from 55 to 65 HP. These changes aim to make Iron Man’s attacks more reliable across various scenarios and may uplift his position in the Marvel Rivals Hero Tier List.

Cloak & Dagger Adjustments

Cloak & Dagger, one of the more intricate characters in Marvel Rivals, offers players the challenge of mastering two distinct playstyles. The heroes’ unique abilities make them fan favorites, but balancing their healing potential has become a focus for this update.

In the new patch, Cloak & Dagger will receive changes to their healing abilities, specifically related to the Lightforce Dagger. The healing effect from Lightforce Dagger on hit allies will increase from 10 to 16 HP. However, the healing effect generated by the spell field will slightly decrease from 18 to 16 HP. Given that many Duelists in Marvel Rivals have around 250 HP, this adjustment allows Cloak & Dagger to heal their teammates by nearly 7% of their health. This change should increase Cloak & Dagger’s general utility, making them a more valuable asset in team compositions.

Human Torch Adjustments

The latest addition to the Marvel Rivals roster, Human Torch, will also receive significant adjustments to his abilities in this patch. His primary ability, Fire Cluster, will undergo an increase in speed, with the projectile speed rising from 120m/s to 150m/s. In addition to this, the projectile count will increase from 12 to 14, giving players more chances to hit their targets with his fiery projectiles.

Human Torch’s ultimate ability, Supernova, will see a balance change as well. While the energy cost for using Supernova will increase from 3400 to 4000, the damage output will also be enhanced. The activation wave damage will increase from 70 to 80 HP, and the flame tornado damage will rise from 100 per second to 120 per second. These adjustments will make Human Torch’s ultimate ability more impactful, while the increased energy cost balances the added damage.
