Brawl Stars February 2025 Update: New Brawlers, Ranked Mode Overhaul, Hypercharges & More!

Discover the Latest Brawl Stars Update Featuring Two New Brawlers, Exciting Hypercharges, a Revamped Ranked System, and an Exclusive UNO Collaboration

Supercell has a major Brawl Stars update, bringing time-manipulating Brawlers, a revamped ranked system, new Hypercharges, and an exciting collaboration. Here’s a complete breakdown of everything coming in the February 2025 update.

Two New Brawlers Enter the Fight: Finx & Lumi

The latest Brawl Talk introduced two brand-new Brawlers set to shake up the battlefield: Finx and Lumi.

Finx: The Time-Controlling Brawler

Inspired by the legendary Sphinx, Finx runs Starr Park’s escape room and wields the ability to manipulate time in combat. His Chronocast attack launches three projectiles, with the middle one dealing extra damage. His Super, Time Wrap, slows down enemy projectiles while speeding up allies, creating a strategic advantage in fights.

His Finxture Gadget lets him rewind to his previous position with restored ammo, while his Hieroglyph Halt Star Power reduces enemy reload speeds. Another Star Power, Primer, extends the duration of his Super when dealing damage.

Lumi: The Dual-Wielding Powerhouse

Lumi is the second member of the Mad Evil Manor trio, striking enemies with Dual Morning Stars that deal damage both when thrown and recalled. Her Super, Blast Beat, delivers three ground slams, with the final impact rooting enemies in place.

Her Gadgets add versatility—one causes burning damage, while the other freezes opponents. Lumi’s Star Powers either slow down enemies or create burning zones after her Super is activated, adding layers of strategy to her playstyle.

New Hypercharges Arrive

12 Brawlers Get Power-Packed Hypercharges

Twelve Brawlers are set to receive new Hypercharges, enhancing their abilities with significant upgrades. Some standout changes include:

  • Carl’s Flamespin – Leaves a fire trail, dealing damage over time.
  • Mandy’s Sugar for All – Shoots her Super in three different directions.
  • Bea’s Protect the Queen – Doubles her Super’s spread for greater coverage.
  • Bo’s Catch a Bear – Deploys five mines instead of three for higher impact.
  • Other Brawlers, including Mr. P, Lola, and Sam, also receive game-changing enhancements, making battles more dynamic than ever.

Ranked Mode Overhaul Brings New Rewards & Features

Ranked Mode is getting a complete overhaul, bringing better rewards and a monthly rotating game mode. Three fully maxed-out Brawlers will be available for testing each season, starting with Emz, Gene, and Leon.

The update also introduces the Pro Pass, a progression system similar to the Brawl Pass. It features both free and paid tracks, with the paid version offering 600 gems, coins, exclusive cosmetics, and the first-ever upgradable skin—Astral Colt, which comes with multiple visual upgrades.

Brawl Stars x UNO Collaboration

Brawl Stars is teaming up with UNO for a special limited-time game mode and a Chester skin. Players will be able to collect and play UNO cards that have unique effects, such as banning enemy attacks or boosting power cubes. This crossover adds a fun twist to battles and introduces strategic card play into the mix.

Additional Features & Quality-of-Life Updates

29 New Skins & Trio Showdown Becomes Permanent

The February update brings 29 new skins, including standout designs like Carnaval Mandy, Dark Knight Lumi, and Jurassic Finx. Additionally, Trio Showdown is being upgraded to a permanent mode, offering more gameplay variety.

Gadgets Now Have Cooldowns Instead of Limited Uses

A major quality-of-life change is being introduced for Gadgets, shifting from limited charges to a cooldown-based system. This means players can use Gadgets more frequently, making battles more engaging and less restrictive.

New Daily Login Rewards System

A new daily login rewards system is also being implemented. Players can earn free items while progressing through a streak tracker that visually upgrades over time. Missing a day won’t reset progress, and players can use gems to maintain their streaks.

When Does the Update Launch?

The first Pro Pass season kicks off on February 25, coinciding with the Dark Sands Brawl Pass season, which features mummy-themed skins. As the year progresses, more skins, updates, and features are expected to roll out, keeping the game fresh and exciting.

Stay tuned for more updates as Brawl Stars continues to evolve with new content and thrilling gameplay enhancements!
