Marvel Rivals, the popular action-packed game, has launched a brand-new event called Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure. This event brings fresh challenges, rewards, and a mysterious hidden item that players can unlock as the event progresses. Players can expect new skins, cosmetics, and a special game mode called Clone Rumble, which is only available for a limited time. The event, much like previous events in Marvel Rivals, offers an exciting opportunity for players to engage with new content and collect exclusive rewards.
Marvel Rivals Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure – Event Details and Timing
Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure officially started on March 7 and will conclude on April 11 at 1:59 AM PT. Players will have until the event’s end to claim various rewards and participate in the event’s exclusive activities. However, there’s an additional time window to be aware of when it comes to the Clone Rumble mode, which will be available at specific times during the event.
Clone Rumble is a limited-time mode in Marvel Rivals, but its availability will be split into three separate windows:
- March 7 to 10 at 2:00 AM PT
- March 14 to 17 at 2:00 AM PT
- March 21 to 24 at 2:00 AM PT
While Clone Rumble isn’t necessary to unlock rewards from the event, it plays a key role in earning exclusive mission-based rewards. You can still participate in the event’s challenges and claim rewards without engaging in Clone Rumble, but completing this mode will help you progress faster.
A key piece of this update includes exciting new costumes for characters such as Venom and Cloak & Dagger, added just a day after the patch release.

New Skins and Rewards: How to Get Them in Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure
In Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure, players can find a special game board on the Marvel Rivals home page. This board is the centerpiece of the event, where you will complete specific missions to earn orbs of power. These orbs can then be used to infuse Chrono-Crystals, which act as dice for the game board. The Chrono-Crystal’s number determines how far Galacta moves, and whenever she stops in a space, you’ll receive the reward featured there.
You can earn these orbs by completing event-specific missions or standard challenges that you can tackle in any game mode. Rewards are given after each move, and they include a variety of cosmetics, such as skins, sprays, nameplates, and more.
Here is a list of the rewards you can collect as of March 7:
- 220 Units (distributed across various spaces)
- Black Widow – Mrs. Barnes Costume
- Black Widow – Celebratory Gunfire Emote
- Timestream Regeneration Device Spray
- Black Widow – Wild Sharpshooter MVP Animation
- Stark Sentinel MK I Nameplate
- Mrs. Barnes Spray
- Mrs. Barnes Nameplate
- Damaged Cerebro Spray
- Intergalactic Adventure Spray
- H.E.R.B.I.E. Spray
- One Small Step Gallery Card (available after completing the board)
- Unknown Hidden Reward (unlocked on April 1)

The Mystery Reward: What’s Behind the Question Mark?
At the center of the event’s game board, players will notice an item marked with a large question mark. According to the in-game notes, this mysterious reward will only unlock after a certain amount of time has passed. While players can claim the One Small Step Gallery Card after completing the other 24 rewards, this hidden item remains locked until around April 1.
Marvel Rivals hasn’t provided many details about this hidden reward yet, but it will likely be revealed as the event nears its end. Keep an eye out for any updates that might hint at what’s inside the mystery box.
Clone Rumble Mode – A New Way to Play
One of the most exciting additions to this event is the Clone Rumble mode. This limited-time mode allows players to break free from the usual restrictions that Marvel Rivals places on selecting heroes. Typically, players cannot use multiple copies of the same hero on the same team, but in Clone Rumble, teams of six can choose the same hero. The twist? You’ll only be able to choose between two heroes for each match, and once the match starts, you’re locked into your choice for the entire round.
Clone Rumble will be available only on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, up until March 24. It takes place on the Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda: Birnin T’Challa Domination map. Each team votes on a hero, and everyone on the team must use that hero for the duration of the match. After three rounds, the team that wins two out of three rounds takes the victory. This mode provides a chaotic, fun twist on standard gameplay and offers players a chance to try out new strategies.
Impact on the Meta: Clone Rumble and Skins
While these events don’t always directly affect the meta of Marvel Rivals, they do influence how players approach the game. For instance, Black Widow has been one of the least-picked characters in the game, with a low pick rate, especially in higher ranks. The addition of Mrs. Barnes’s skin during this event may encourage more players to try her out in different modes.
Clone Rumble also brings a fresh dynamic to the game, allowing players to explore different strategies and team compositions. Since players can use multiple copies of the same hero, it opens the door for more varied and exciting team setups. Even if Clone Rumble doesn’t influence the main game modes, it gives players a chance to break the mold and enjoy some chaotic, unpredictable gameplay.
