Opening Match Against Oklahoma State
The Seminoles will begin their campaign with a high-profile game against Oklahoma State on February 6 at 11 a.m. EST. Oklahoma State, a participant in the 2024 Women’s College World Series, presents a challenging opener for Florida State. The two teams have faced each other 27 times, with Oklahoma State leading the series 14-13. However, Florida State has fond memories of their last encounter—a commanding 8-0 run-rule victory during the 2023 Women’s College World Series. Fans can look forward to a second showdown between these rivals on February 8 at 8 p.m., which will close out the tournament.
First-Ever Meeting with Northern Colorado
Florida State is also set to face Northern Colorado for the first time in program history on February 6 at 2 p.m. Northern Colorado is coming off an impressive 2024 season, finishing with a 27-26 record and claiming the Big Sky Conference Championship.
